About the Institute
Government Girls Polytechnic Jasoda Kannauj is a newly established Government Polytechnic Institute under the Department of Technical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh. The institute has commenced academic activities from the Academic Session 2026–27 with the objective of providing quality technical education to girl students and promoting women empowerment through skill-based learning. The institute is approved by AICTE, the diploma programme is approved/affiliated by the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh (BTEUP), Lucknow, and it is the first Government Girls Polytechnic in Kanpur Division. At present, the institute is functioning from the campus of Manyawar Kanshiram Government Polytechnic, Tirwa, Kannauj until its permanent campus becomes fully operational.
